Basic Info BioThis is my second journal. It's a journal I opened a short while ago, see a need, fill a need. I needed a safe space, where I did not have to be teacher, where I did not have to be educator, where the education of white women does not come off my back. In order to maintain that, this journal is also primarily POC, women who fight the fight, know the fight, know the people and know the truth. Strong women of color who are dead on in everything they do and say, warriors, militants, educators. I have a few allies on my list, but they are strong women who have proven over years, that they are in fact allies, that they are masters of deconstruction and educators of plights and white privilege, that they will not only sit aside meekly and nod their head, but recognize that an ally means more then that. If you're not a POC, please do not ask to be added, unless you know for damn sure that I would consider you one of the above. If you are POC, then add away. And please, no apples, twinkies, generokees, pretendians or any of the above, haha.
I am Cristi. 23 year old mama to my 4 year old and 2 month old sons. I am indigenist. I am no longer feminist and have not ID'd as such in a long time. Feminism is white centred and exclusive. I still encompass all I did before, with focus on women's rights, reproductive rights, but refuse to ID with a movement that has never IDd with my people.
I am very blunt, I am very passionate, and I also know that to those who are there for me, I will be there for you until the end. My life revolves around my family and my friends. My life is my son, and what I can do to make the world a little better when he's older. I am a pacifist, but a warrior.
If you are not on my FL here but are on my other, and think you should be on this one as well, let me know. Do not feel rejected if I do not accept. This does not mean I dislike you, or do not appreciate who you are, it means that I need this space to stay how I need it, and will just show you loving on the other journal :)
My other journal will still remain open.
